In our university, the
seminar of dissemination of the project outcomes was organized in terms of the
project of "Awareness Study for
Promotion of Entrepreneurship and University-Industry Cooperation Activities in
the Agricultural Biotechnology in Turkey"
supported by the US Embassy , which is a collaboration of the 6
university stakeholders together with our university.
Our university's online
seminar started with the opening speeches of the project coordinator Prof. Dr.
Sümer Aras, and our university representative of the project, Faculty of
Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Biotechnology, Assoc. Dr. Behcet İnal.
The online seminar was completed with the presentations of our University
Public-University-Industry cooperation representative Assoc. Dr. Fevzi Hansu
and Ankara TTO Coordinator Fatih Tunca.
To the seminar; Our Dean of the Faculty of
Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Çetin Karademir, faculty members of our university,
academicians from various institutions and organizations, researchers, graduate
and undergraduate students participated.
The second online event,
which will also be hosted by our university, is planned to be held on February
23, 2021, between 14.00-16.00.
Ankara University as a
project coordinator alongside our university, Atatürk University, Abant Izzet
Baysal University, Çukurova university, Erzurum Technical university ve
Michigan State University as a partner takes place in the project of
"Awareness Study for Promotion of Entrepreneurship and University-Industry
Cooperation Activities in the Agricultural Biotechnology in Turkey" to
improve cooperation between university
and industry with Agricultural Biotechnology model
In the project, where
subjects such as sharing experience in university-industry cooperation, drawing
the road map, financing, product development, launching, marketing and product
management are discussed, successful agricultural biotechnology product samples
are also evaluated. The second phase of the project aims to determine the
regional dynamics in the experience sharing meetings with partner universities.
In the project, Siirt University is represented by Agricultural
Biotechnology Department Faculty Members Assoc. Dr. Behcet İnal and Dr.
